Love-and-nature.com: 'The cutest hotel in Amsterdam'
The rough Guide: 'Extremely pleasant hotel...'

Dutch Modern furnishing meets 17th century canal house setting at this quiet and understaded spot. Its eight comfortable, individual rooms all have canal or (upscale) neighborhood views and the top-floor rooms have loads of light. The staff is very accommodating.

There is more to this bolt-hole than the prosaic name implies. Run with tons of tender loving care by the charmingly scatty owners, rooms are furnished in glamorous but understated '30s style, you will be glad to know ta they are all a good size. Room eight, up among the eaves, sleeps up to five - two of the beds are on a lovely mezzanine.

Hidden in a typical Amsterdam canal house. 't Hotel is one of the city's best b&b's. Three of the eight rooms overlook the impossible romantic Leliegracht, which runs perpendicular to the main canals of Keizersgracht and Herengracht. Room 8 on the top floor is a huge loft space that sleeps up to five. It has glorious views of the immaculate courtyards gardens next door.
www.travelintelligence.com: "The beds are so comfortable often guests want to know where to buy them. . The style is modern with touches of the elegance of the Thirties and the hotel has a very homely atmosphere. ..the breakfast buffet is varied and generous – among the best in Amsterdam. ..The excellent rates .. makes this one of the best choices in this price range.' (no wonder they selected us for their list!).
